This is an attempt to revive the beautiful tradition of art-symposia in Greece.

That´s why I plan to place my own ground at the disposal of younger artists to give them an opportunity to work together. Wouldn´t it be great for them – coming from different fields of study as well as possibly from different parts of our world to meet here and to work and  communicate with one another.

Wouldn´t it be fun to do as the ancient Greeks used to do: Enjoy Retsina, Ouzo or beer with
(appetizers)exchanging ideas and opinions and relaxing under the old olive trees?

You can count on me and my support – whereever needed – at least as long as it is in Greek or German.

I can offer you the use of the courtyard, the garden as well as of all the tools available there even for welding and for doing wrought-iron-work. Canvas and brushes you can buy from specialized dealers in town.

If you plan an excursion or a trip while you are here and need advice, you are welcome to ask any question. Having lived here for more than 25 years by now I hope to be able to answer all of them. Even if you like to put up a tent on my property, I don´t mind. Holiday homes and appartments to hire can be found all around the area. I can help you to get in touch with owners of such flats.

As a compensation for my efforts I´d like to suggest that each participating artist(in a workshop, meeting, symposium) leave one piece of work (sculpture, picture, object) behind in Ano Boulomeno as a contribution to the growth and extension of both the house of arts and the sculpture-park.

In addition to this we plan a publication of the objects made during those events on this website, where the individual artists can present themselves sharing a common platform.
