Alexandros Jazakis

1943	born in Berlin
1986	Moove to Greece Adoption of the Greek citizenship Adoption of a new first name by an Orthodox baptism
1970	starting to work as an artist
1972	first exhibition in Freiburg /Brsg., Germany
1973	group exhibition to finance and organize a children´s playground in Freiburg/Weingarten, Germany
1974	foundation of the independent group of artists “Freie Künstlergruppe” (FKF)
1975	edition of a pocket book of B.Kolich´s poetry “Eigentlich bin ich noch sehr jung”
1976	exhibiotion at the university of Freiburg
	exhibition at the fkf-gallery, Freiburg
1977	opening of the first pub of theatre and minor arts in Freiburg (Litfass – Theatre nextdoor) Germany´s smallest stage – pub.

2007	working at the sculpture– park with its columns and sculptures made of iron chains
	constructuion of large – scale objects such as palm-trees made of iron and steel
	starting a new- shape- program of my “ house of arts” : alteration of my house in order to establish a meditation – room and the glass- covered intergration of the “ eternal caravan” in the floor
	the “ ART-POINT” – initiative: every building linked with art in the town of Egio is marked with a 30x30 cm Red Art Point and can be found on the city – map, too
	the first columns of the culturepark are completed with the sculptures added on the top
2008	planing and constructing the high “ Icarus-gate” (materials: concrete,wood, iron, textiles)
	alteration and  extension of the “ house of art” adding  an apse  to the meditation room, thus using daylight indirectly for its lighting, and with fragments of a Taurus made of lead. In the adjoining room the idea of the “eternal caravan” has been realized ( 4,5m ).
	To the large sliding door (main entrance to the courtyard)4 Touaregs have been added and fixed with horseshoes, and to the small entrance door, leading to the “ Philosophers´yard” different objects have been installed.
	Total renovation and illumination of the “ Philosophers´yard”
	during the summer the 5m-high Icarus-gate was completed and work at the tomb of the Pharao is in progress.
2009	An additional room for exhibition has been established with an opening exhibition of my pieces dealing with all kinds of writing, man´s knowledge and publications thereof. Creation of an abstract series of images Set up of a new art website www.griechenland-kunst.de and www.jazakis-kunst.de Completion of the exhibition room
2011	production of collagen and other respresantion al paintings. Construction of a false door in the “Philosophenhof” Exhibition of scultures and paintings in the art room from Aschau.
2011 / 2012	Construction of the Asien Gate. It si the 6th of 7 planned gates on the site.
